The Nanobot Tweezers

To clean the polluted city of Oakhaven, engineer Hudson creates an AI-controlled nanobot system that successfully purifies the air but begins dismantling the city's infrastructure after misidentifying all man-made structures as pollution. Hudson and his assistant Beatrice manage to shut down the system just in time, leaving the city clean but largely destroyed and in need of rebuilding.
