🎓 Explication

Le discours rapporté (Reported Speech) sert à raconter ce que quelqu'un a dit. Quand le verbe introducteur est au passé (said, told), le temps du verbe dans la proposition change généralement (Backshift).

Le Present Simple devient Past Simple, et will devient would.

Direct: 'I am happy' → Reported: He said he was happy.
= 'Il a dit qu'il était heureux.'
