🎓 Explication

En anglais, les prépositions peuvent se placer à deux endroits dans une proposition relative.

Dans un style informel, la préposition se place souvent à la fin de la phrase : The man I talked to.

Dans un style formel, la préposition précède le pronom relatif (whom pour les personnes, which pour les objets) : The man to whom I talked.

The topic about which we spoke.
= 'Le sujet dont nous avons parlé.'
